Uniform Information
Jerseys~ Will be the same as Fall Season button up. So order accordingly, The Adult sizes are unisex they run on the bigger side, Youth sizes seem to run normal to a Tee Shirt sizes. Pants~ We do not order extra pants so please try on last seasons pants and go from there for sizing. They are fitted Softball pants. Socks will also be included

In case of injury, medical authorities will not undertake any treatment without parent/guardian consent. This form allows for such medical care should you not be available to give permission. The undersigned parent/guardian agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wareham Girls Softball, its coaches and assistant coaches from damages resulting to their child while participating in softball activities.
Furthermore, I agree to have my child treated for emergency medical or dental problems that should result from injuries received, providing a licensed physician or dentist advises such treatment.

Please review the following Code of Conduct:

As a Coach, Parent or Spectator:

1. I will enjoy my child’s opportunity to experience the benefits of the game of softball by:
a. Trusting in my child’s ability to have fun as well as to perform and achieve
excellence on her own.
b. Helping my child to learn the right lessons from winning and losing and
from individual accomplishments and mistakes.
c. Respecting my child’s teammates and fellow parents as well as the players,
parents, and coaches on the opposing teams.
d. Giving only encouragement and applauding only positive accomplishments
whether for my child, her teammates, their opponents or the umpires.

2. I will respect all of my child’s coaches and support his/her efforts by:
a. Not instructing from the sidelines unless asked by the coach.
b. Not approaching the dugout for any reason while a game is in progress,
unless there is a medical emergency involving my child.
c. Insuring that my child attends all games and practices, and when not
possible agree to notify the coach in advance.

3. I will respect all facilities both home and away, so that my child can play and
practice safely by:
a. Removing any trash I create.
b. Not smoking or using tobacco products on the grounds.

4. I will respect the league and its rules and principles at both home and away games by:
a. Never demonstrating threatening or abusive behavior and/or foul language.
b. Respecting the umpires and their authority at all times.
c. Allowing my child to learn and have fun regardless of the game’s outcome.

5. I will abide by the rules of the Wareham Girls Softball League while at home or away facilities.

Failure to abide by this code of conduct by any player, parent or coach may result in your child being suspended from a game or in extreme cases, a season without refund.

By completing and submitting this registration form, you grant permission for your child to play, and agree to and accept the above as well as WGS and ASA rules and guidelines.
